Chaplet For A Loving Heart

Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold. But he who stands firm to the end will be saved.

Lord Jesus,  Savior of the
world and source of holiness, you tell
us that in the end times it will be difficult to remain loving, but loving we must be. Please, look with kindness upon us and help us to have a divine heart. Lord, we ask you to send us the Holy Spirit to fill us with His gifts so that we will have hearts that love you above all,  and      hearts that will  reflect your love to all
to all we meet.   We ask you Lord, to
keep us from evil and to aid us in
our commitment  to do your
will. We desire to be one
with You as You are
one with Your
Father.
   Amen

Being Like Mary

LORD JESUS CHRIST, help me to say YES as Mary did, so that  you may come and take flesh in my life.  Lord, use me as your instrument to spread the Father’s love in the world. May all who meet me see only you. Thru my actions may all come to know your love. Amen

It is no longer I who live but Christ who lives in me

Gal 2:20

Seeking Protection

LORD JESUS CHRIST,  ask your Father to keep me from evil that I may always be united with you in the bonds of love. As you are one with your Father, so may I be one with you in your divine heart, now and for eternity. Amen.

Holy Father, protect them by the power of your name—the name you gave me—so that they may be one as we are one.

                                                            John 17:11

Worshipping Him

LORD JESUS CHRIST, I praise and thank you for your love. In the depths of your heart you worship the eternal Father.  I also desire to worship the Father in my every thought, word and deed.  Please help me to be aware of this in my daily life.  Amen

And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.                              Colossians 3:17

Trusting Him

LORD JESUS CHRIST, you invite me to trust you and to come to you with all my needs. Grant that through your Spirit I might be strengthened by your grace to become more aware of your love for me.  Help me to be confident that you will always be with me.  Amen

I have come to know the great love that God has for me and because of that love I trust Him.        1John 4:14

Sharing His Sorrow

LORD JESUS CHRIST, in Gethsemane and on the cross you knew as none other the bitter sorrow of a lonely heart. Give me the grace to be aware of your presence so that loneliness will be dispelled from my life. Help me Lord, to use the knowledge of your love to comfort all who are lonely. Amen

And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."                                                         Matthew 28:19

Carrying our cross

LORD JESUS CHRIST, on Calvary you revealed your love for the Father and for me.  Strengthen me in the knowledge of that love so that I may overcome my weaknesses.  Help me to show my love for you by bearing patiently the crosses of my daily life.   Amen.

Then Jesus said to his disciples, "If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me.                                           Matthew 16:24

Forgiving Hearts

LORD JESUS CHRIST, In you, I have come to know the meaning of forgiveness.  Help me to love others and to forgive them.  Help me to let go of my right to hurt another for hurting me because of my love for you.

Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.                                               Colossians 3:13

Living Mercy

LORD JESUS CHRIST, may I remember that the miracle of Christianity is that in my neighbor I have you at my doorstep to be the object of my love.  May I be humble enough to sit at someone else's doorstep and allow them to minister to you by helping me.

'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.'

Matthew 25:40

Healing thru His Love

LORD JESUS CHRIST, the love of God poured into my heart by the Holy Spirit heals me and makes me whole. Touch me Jesus in mind, body and spirit.  Radiate my heart with healing for all spiritual cancers, criticism, complaint and control.  Grant me a loving heart.

Reckless words pierce like a sword, but the tongue of the wise brings healing.                          Proverbs 12:18

Witnessing Him

LORD JESUS CHRIST, make me a missionary of your loving Heart. Ask your heavenly Father to keep me in your love, and sanctify me in truth so that you may be glorified in me, and I may love my brothers and sisters as you have loved me. Amen

My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you.                                                                    John 15:12

Examination of Conscience

We cannot really be Christians unless we are conscious of our sinfulness and recognize our need of Jesus Christ.
Sin can be seen only in the light of the love of God for me. As I realize that God loves me unconditionally, for myself, so will be my realization of sin. Jesus’ command to love one another as I have loved you must be the basis of any examination of conscience. Paul gives us a beautiful formula to use in 1 Corinthians 13. Place your name where the word “love” appears and let the Holy Spirit speak to your heart.

Love (your name) is patient, love (your name)  is kind. It (your name)  does not envy, it (your name)  does not boast, it (your name)  is not proud. It (your name)  is not rude, it (your name)  is not self-seeking, it (your name)  is not easily angered, it (your name)  keeps no record of wrongs. Love (your name)  does not delight in evil but (your name)  rejoices with the truth. It  (your name) always protects, (your name)  always trusts, (your name)  always hopes, (your name)  always perseveres.

If my heart tells me that I can agree with the Scripture, I thank my God for his goodness; if not, I ask his help to do better. Lord, grant me a loving heart. A heart fashioned after the heart of your Son, Jesus.

Litany of the Sacred Heart

Lord, we praise the love in your Heart.
    Blessed are you.
You have worked marvels for your people.
    Blessed are you.
You have chosen us to serve.
    Blessed are you.
Your Heart overflows with Living Water.
    Blessed are you.
To consecrate us in the Truth,
   Send us your Spirit.
To gather us as one,
   Send us your Spirit.
To send us as you were sent,
   Send us your Spirit.
To make our hearts burn with your Love,
   Send us your Spirit.
With your Mother at the Foot of the Cross,
   We pray to you.
Contemplating your pierced heart,
    We pray to you.
For those who bend under burdens,
   We pray to you.
For your Church and her mission,
   We pray to you.
Jesus, likeness of God.
    Jesus, mystery of love.
Jesus, source of life.
    Jesus, centre of our heart

O Loving heart I place my trust in you.  Please grant me a heart of love.  I place all my trust in you. Although I fear all things from my weakness I hope all things from your goodness.
