His Love Ministries is an International Intercessory Prayer Ministry dedicated to bringing people to a deeper understanding of the love that God has for them.

Founded in 1983 by Father John F. Campoli, the members of the ministry have conducted healing Masses, Retreats, Parish Missions and Days of Recollection in the United States, Ireland, England, Belize, Trinidad, St. Vincent, and the Middle East.

In 1989, Mary Buckman joined Father John as a partner in ministry. In 1993, Mary founded On Angels Wings, a pilgrimage service designed to help people come into a deeper relationship with God. In 1997, after a visit to Trinidad, Mary and Father began looking for a way to keep in touch with the many people the minister to. To do this the established the prayer communities which now number over ninety.

When Father Campoli is asked to give a brief summary of the objectives of the Ministry, he would say that he tries to bring people to an understanding that “ God is love, love is mercy, mercy is forgiveness and forgiveness heals.”

Masses with Healing Services

A Healing Mass, celebrated by Father John Campoli, is a Eucharistic celebration carried out exactly as the Church prescribes, with a greater emphasis the mystery of suffering and God’s healing power. Following the Mass there is an opportunity for individual prayer. During this prayer time, the ministers will lay hands on those who come forth asking God to touch them with His healing in mind, body and spirit. During the Mass and healing service, Father John stresses healing of the spirit. The beautiful part of the Healing Ministry is that we have witnessed so many people change their lives and grow in a deeper relationship with God.

Parish Missions:

Father Campoli is available to conduct parish renewal missions. For a mission he usually preaches at all the weekend Masses and conducts services from Monday through Thursday evenings. During the course of the mission, one evening is usually dedicated to the sacrament of Reconciliation and the last evening includes a healing service.

Retreats:

Retreats and Days of Recollection are held periodically at parishes and retreat centers.

Special Outreaches

Our outreach programs are directed by Mary Buckman of On Angels Wings. The outreaches take several forms:

Pilgrimages dedicated to bringing people into a closer relationship with Jesus Christ by taking them to carefully chosen places of inspiration. We are very aware of the special graces that occur when people dedicate their time and money to grow in the knowledge of God and His people. We pray for each person who enrolls on our trip and we do everything in our power to make their journey peace filled.

Prayer Cell Communities Small groups of people meeting weekly as intercessors for the ministry. The meetings begin with prayer ( the Rosary or Chaplet of Mercy.) Following the prayer, the group shares a reflection for their personal spiritual growth. The reflection period takes the following form: a scripture reading; questions relating to the scripture causing us to relate the scripture to our life today; A suggestion for applying this lesson to our daily activities; and a meditation. Each month the reflections are mailed to the prayer cells for use at the weekly meetings.

Children’s Outreach. We have groups of people who knit baby hats and blankets which are given to expectant parents and newborn children. While the garments are being made, the makers pray for the children and their families. We also send teddy bears with homemade clothes to older children who are ill. The names of the children and their photos are placed at the altar during our Masses.
